With a small footprint of 8.8 inches (224mm) by 10.1 inches (257mm), the Ovation2 printer may be installed where workspace is restricted and easily moved from one print station to another for point-of-use labeling. An optional wall mount kit enables the unit to hang from a wall or other vertical surface if counter space is not accessible.
The standard Ovation2 printer supports direct thermal and thermal transfer printing (a field installable thermal transfer mechanism is available). A new thermal printhead, engineered for economy, provides reliability and quality with a low cost of ownership.
The Ovation2 printer generates quality linear and two-dimensional bar codes, bitmapped and scalable typographic fonts, and precisely defined graphics and logos at 203 dpi (8 dots per mm) resolution. For text and graphic intensive labeling, a standard Windows® driver allows users to print labels from virtually any Windows-based application.
